Double Stay Mineral Makeup foundation by Lumene

I came across this foundation totally by chance while I was shopping for some new nail polishes. I never was tempted to try Lumene products (it's a finnish brand) , maybe because I did not mention that stand before. The prices were affordable, let's say Lumene is in middle range price.

It costed me abt 8$, but I saw it even cheaper.

This line "Double Stay" is discontinued already and replaced by "Triple Stay"

I got for myself the 2nd color: Honey Beige and I am almost satisfied with it. Why almost? Because I would prefer if this color would come with a little bit less yellow undertone.

What I love the most that this foundation is paraben free!!! That means no clogged pores... And you can use it if you have sensitive skin too.

It also contains arctic amethyst minerals which protect your skin against external stress factors.

Packaging:
I love its packaging. It comes in a tube with a spout. This is so comfortable because you will not get messy when dispensing the product.

Texture and coverage:
It is water based (that's why I make sure to moisturize my skin well before applying), very light weighted. Perfect texture, not too watery, nor too heavy or creamy. Very easy to work with. It blends well with your skin. And looks like your 2nd skin actually. Even if the color doesn't fit me 100%, but it doesn't look like I'm wearing a mask on my face.

It has softly powdered finish, velvety like. I love it. Not dewy and not too matte. 

The coverage is light. This foundation is just to even out your skin tone. If you have any blemishes and other imperfections you will definitely need a concealer or corrector.
As I don't have any big troubles with my skin, I usually use this foundation by itself with no concealer. I don't like to wear too much foundation, because it instantly gets cakey on me and it looks like a mask! In one word - ODD.

Lasting power:
It lasts me all day. I use it with a primer underneath. On my normal skin (with oily t-zone) I have no fading for 8-10 hrs. And I think that's pretty cool. 

Smell:
I adore this smell!!! Something arctic I'd say... Reminds me of a beautiful winter morning :D It is so refreshing. Especially when you're using it on hot summer days... Mmmm, heaven!

My experience with this foundation is a pleasant one. I will definitely pay more attention to Lumene products. They have a skin care line also, so I have to check that out too.
